One may work on the sales strategy while at the office in Warsaw, but one may also do that… in Barcelona – on a beach or in one of the many tapas bars. This was the idea that one of our customers has come up with, inviting its team working on the new strategy to spend a couple days in the capital of Catalonia. The work on the project, conducted on a daily basis in a Warsaw office building, had simply ground to a halt. The customer decided that the deadline can only be met if the setting and the climate are changed.
The project team was enchanted by the atmosphere of our version of the city – not only by its magical back streets, fairytale architecture by Gaudi and by the sheer size of its main streets. While walking in Barcelona, we were tempted, every few minutes, by hundreds of tapas bars and wine stored. Nobody missed their dull office building lunch bar.
To stimulate the creativity of our guests, we proposed, inter alia, the Paella Cooking Experience. Under the watchful eye of qualified chefs, the participants prepared traditional Spanish cuisine dishes using the products they purchased before. After tiring project sessions lasting all day long, the group was indulging in the region’s attractions, such as diving with tunas, visiting wineries or sightseeing in the beautiful town of Tarragona.
At the end of the trip, everyone shared the opinion that one week was not enough to learn all about Barcelona, but was definitely sufficient to be seduced by its charm.
