We offered our customer from the financial sector a trip to two unique destinations in the Indian Ocean – Sri Lanka and Maldives.
Sri Lanka is truly enchanting, no matter where you turn: it hypnotizes with heavy and fragrant air, mysterious characters of its alphabet, a colorful flag with Buddhist accents, imposing, magnificent fauna and the smiles of its inhabitants. We have proposed visiting Sri Lanka’s key attractions, including, inter alia, the Sigiryia fortress, the Buddha’s Tooth Temple in Kandy – the former capital of the Sinhalese Kingdom, and the Minneriya National Part where we encountered elephants in their natural habitat. The group has also paid a visit to a spice plantation and discovered how exotic plants used in the kitchens all over the world are cultivated. A visit to a tea plantation was a true adventure as well. Not only did we discover the entire process fo growing and producing tea, but we also participated in a tea leave picking contest, competing against professional, local pickers. Some time was also spent fishing, playing cricket and dining on the beach. We were also mingling with locals, trying the exquisite and extremely diverse cuisine.
An all-inclusive stay on the picturesque beaches of Maldives was a worthy culmination of the entire trip.
